This was a trip done couple of years back. This will always be a memorable one for me because this trip happened with a purpose. During those days my husband was battling with Myasthenia Gravis Autoimmune health condition. We were trying all natural therapies as much as possible to help him. We tried Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and every possible treatment that could be be done as much as possible naturally. Nothing was really making him recover completely but yes I must say it was keeping his condition under control.
In Myasthenia the muscles of the body go weak and they lose their function. The body part that it impacts the muscles of that part go completely out of order. For him it was the full upper body part, which was the throat and chest. So he was not able to speak or eat, for many months he was on nose feed pipe and his neck would droop down, so would his eye lids. But all of this happened when his condition was completely out of hand. For 3 years we could stabilize his condition with the natural therapies.
During those days someone suggested us this Doctor, in the Dharamshala. It's a hill station in India. A very beautiful place. This Doctor is no more now, he was 90+ when we had approached him in 2019, after 2 years he passed away. Basically he was a cancer specialist and he had cured many people. His way of diagnosis was very unique. He would not check any medical reports. He would ask the patient to get their Urine sample, and that too taken in a very specific way. There were some food restrictions to be followed 2 weeks before taking the sample. We did all of that and visited him. He told us that time, his condition was bad and he would not be able to do much. But he can give some pills, which again are made by him with natural ingredients. He was a cancer specialist and this was an autoimmune condition. We had taken a chance if something he could do. With his treatment for a year around hubby's health got little better and improved.
I was happy that the treatment was working and we continued. But then there was one family event and hubby went relaxed, for those few days he missed all his diet restriction routines and also consumed alcohol, which collapsed him completely and after that there was no way that any natural therapy would work and there was only hospitalization.
So, with all of this when we visited Dharamshala, along with his treatment we also went around the place and visited this beautiful Monastery. Some places in life happen for a reason and this is one of them. Dealing with all of this was not easy but in some way Universe was easing out our pain in this peaceful ways.
Some pictures of the Monastery.
