In a small mountain village called Pilok, 6 hours west of Bangkok there is a lake that has become famous for tourists to leave their name as a sign of "I was here".
At first I believed these wooden tags and messages to be wishes but as I started to look closer, they were nothing more than names and dates.
Pilok is renown for its bendy mountain road and isolated location making any trip here an achievement!
