The Onion Guide: Link Policy.

This is a very brief post to outline our link policy here on The Onion Guide.

Firstly, we will be posting links in an non-clickable format, like this, as opposed to clickable links, like this. This is intended as a harm-reduction measure, so that nobody accidentally clicks on anything that could be potentially NSFW (Not Safe For Work) or legally questionable.

Secondly, we will be avoiding posting any links to 100% illegal content (abuse material, terrorist propaganda), however we may post discussion and links to content such as darknet markets (eg: Silk Road successors). It is heavily advised to read the article before blindly visiting any sites, so as to avoid visiting something you don't want to see. We probably will report illegal content to the authorities or something, because fuck that.

Thirdly, we will be covering some of the scam sites out there, with some help from @balor and other folks who do anti-phishing stuff. These will be clearly labelled, and are being covered to show how much sketchy and scammy stuff there is out there.

Finally, it should be noted that the site may be offline by the time you get around to reading the post about it. Hidden services often change addresses - if you find a dead site link, let us know in the comments of the article and we will investigate, and if possible, create a new post with an updated link.

Hopefully that clears up some off the basic rules of what we will be doing here. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do let us know in the comments section.
