Impressive choice of beers on tap, with some quite unusual flavours that all seemed to work well together. Loved the Kurtz's Insane IPA as a beer drinker fond of bold and hoppy beers! Pub grub to accompany the beers was both varied and well-presented. Will certainly return on our next visit to Ho Chi Minh.
We walked from one end of the city to find this bar and I am so glad we did.
Nestled between what appeared to be two ordinary looking residential buildings and sitting back from the road behind a generous courtyard seating area was this gem of a place.
Having just left East West we were keen to compare and, I have to say, it's impossible. Imperial IPAs, Goses, Red Ales. You name it, they brew it and we tasted it. 21 beers on tap in total (lol we didn't drink 21 to be completely honest). As with everywhere in this city, the staff were very helpful and generous with their assistance.
What sets HoD apart from the other two breweries we visited was the slightly left of centre beers on offer. So if you like lots of hops or perhaps a malty brew or sour is your go, this is a must visit on a humid day .
