Swiss Trip june 2017.

After watching this youtube video .I made it my mission to visit this incredible location. I flew out of Dublin Last friday . We started the hike at 4am saturday morning. I have to say I would consider myself in great shape, but an 1hr 30mins into the hike an older lady of 50+ years glided right by me ! but we made sunrise .

Such a tough hike but worth it 100% ! Some photos from the trip attached below :)

Trip:

Fly (R)Dublin to geneva (99€)
Train (R)Geneva-Bern-Interlaken (143€)
Accomodation: Balmers hostel Interlaken(300€) 3nights

Food and minor travel 200€
Other Stuff: Gifts, clothes, boat trips, €250.

My Spending Incase you decide to go too :) ( My spending wasnt 100% conservative theres totally room to go with a lot less that what I spent)

Weather was surreal 30+ degrees every day, it got cold at night though!

Switzerland is very expensive, but I think its worth it but watch out for tourist traps. I spotted a subway expecting a reasonable deal. WRONG! A steak and cheese sub with no extras 20€. After that I made sure I asked the price before allowing the staff to make my food :D !

One last awesome thing I loved was that mountain spring water was available free at fountains all over switzerland! Crazy! And in all my travels the water taste the best in switzerland especially in the mountain regions. if you can afford it make the trip you wont be dissappointed!
