The Punisher has infiltrated the tower, executed the guards, almost killed Vader and defeated the Emperor. The Emperor is now holding on for his dear life while the Punisher stands over him ready to finish him off.
Suddenly Vader in his damaged suit appears behind the Punisher. It's a miracle he's still alive after the fall and how he climbed to the top of the tower is an even grater mystery. But he's here and the Punisher doesn't know it. He ignites his crimson red lightsaber and strikes.
Punisher's head falls to the ground below. Stormtroopers rushing to it to see. Confused they just stare at it not knowing what to make of it.
The Emperor is saved, long may he live. Vader helps him get up on the roof. The Emperor thanks him. Maybe it's not yet time to replace Vader he thinks.
