California Coast #3 - Elfin Forest Natural Preserve

Medicinal Magic

Stresses and worries serve to alert us to events that threaten ourselves or the ones we love. It seems as though, nowadays, there are more stresses on us than are necessary. We don't always know what drives these stresses, but we should certainly know how to minimize them when needed. In this manner, we employ our medicinal magic to alleviate our woes, albeit temporarily.

Introduction

Welcome, fellow Steemians, to our third installment of California Coast! In this article, we will be presenting images taken from a hiking trail at Elfin Forest Natural Preserve in Morro Bay, California. All pictures taken are my own unless otherwise referenced below the image. My images are made from a GoPro Hero-4 mounted on a 3DR Solo Drone Quadcopter. The Drone elevation varies between 25-FT and 100-FT in the pictures presented. I also have trail photos taken from an iPhone 7 plus.

It's been some time since I last posted images of the California Coast. The reason for this is because I needed to utilize a new format for image presentation. I wanted to make things easier to view while, simultaneously, allowing readers to see more images.

Trail Description

The hiking trail starts simply enough. A boardwalk about a mile long circles the reservation. There are small dirt trails around the boardwalk, but I don't pay too much attention to those. I usually come here with my family and, since my sons are only 1.2 and 2.5 years old, it's great for strollers. Walking, or pushing a carriage, is easy enough around most areas of this hiking trail.

Special Thanks

Thanks go to @ladyluck for her very clear explanations on HTML code and Image Sliders in her article, Make Image Slider ❮📸📸📸❯ on Steemit 🅱eginer's guide to 🅰dvanced. If not for that article, these sliders would have been challenging to make in a short time.

Thanks again, fellow Steemians, for joining me on this journey. I hope you enjoyed these images of California's Central Coast, and I look forward to providing more in the future. There was a lot of enthusiasm and support from my previous two articles on the California Coast. I'll be continuing this series for the foreseeable future.

The trip through Elfin forest was enjoyable and I look forward to going there again with my family. Stay tuned for more STEM articles and visual imagery!
