Steemit is a great place for writers. It is filled with Writing Communities who encourage you to practice and expand your writing patterns.
Some communities like @needleworkmonday are linked with a hobby or craft. Other's like #freewrite community give you daily writing prompts.
#walkwithme community encourages you to share your walks #marketfriday has you share your local wares and #ulog is all about writing about YOU.
Your Challenge is to find a community of your liking and write along with them
Then come back to this post and show off who you are writing for and what you wrote.
Please Be Mindful When Joining This Challenge
Research what community you are writing for and make sure to follow their rules and guidelines. Please aim to have your intro be different than: "Steemitmamas wants me to write for a community and I will probably never join you again."
Try something more centric to the community you are writing for. This challenge is about more than just finding a writing topic for today. Its about networking with different communities and possibly finding a new group to write with. You can after all be a #steemitmamas member who shows off her crafts on mondays, #freewrites on Wednesdays, and shows of her local stores on #marketfriday.
I already write for a community, can I just share a post?
Sure. I guess. We won't be doing major research on everything posted here to see if you were already writing for a community. And we also understand that you may have a favorite community you write for that you haven't written for lately.
But aim to challenge yourself. Freewrites after all, only take 5 minutes...
