It's been exciting to see the Steemit site gaining visitors over the past couple of months, but it's gone into reverse recently.
The US seems to have the biggest losses and has been steadily falling for a while from a top 700 rank last month to 1148. UK is also falling. Korea has recovered a little, but India may catch it up if it keeps climbing like this.
According to @penguinpablo we have passed 900k accounts. I had hoped for a million by now, but it seems they are still being manually checked and it can take a couple of weeks to get authorised. You can buy an account, but that's too technical for most people.
The lower Steem price may be a factor in the reduced visitors, but we've seen it far lower than this and it recovered. What you earn now could be worth far more later, so keep on posting and encouraging others. Support the minnows who will become the next wave of dolphins. We need the creative people to stick with us and bring in their fans.
