For Healthy Teeth and Bones.

I think it is worth sharing with you guys. Today I will share with you something important about your bone health. This is what i learned "researching online".

I share what I learn that is what I do here on Steemit Platform. I like to read about the health topics and sharing and documenting all on my steemit account, I think it will be helpful to others looking to improve their health. They can get the idea from my posts and can do their own research on that too.

Well, we all have seen television advertisements about the teeth health and how much they emphasize on the Toothpaste they are trying to sell and I would like to say there is a whole new aspect to it.

Our health totally depends upon what we consume and it is pretty much true for our teeth too.

If you want to avoid dental problems then this would be the lifesaver for you.

When we talk about teeth health that means we are talking about the Calcium mineral, which is responsible for our bone health including our teeth.

The problem is only calcium does not do anything, you have to take fat-soluble vitamins ie vitamin K2 and D.

Calcium doesn't know what to do once inside the body and It is vitamin K2 that direct it to wherever it is needed most.

It activates a protein called osteocalcin which promotes the bone repairing with calcium. It also activates a protein called Matrix GLA which helps to go around the body and grab calcium from the soft tissues.

Importantly, the full effect of K2 can only be activated if it paired with vitamin D.

Vitamin D is responsible for absorbing the calcium from the gut and transport it to the vital bone tissue including teeth,

Another important mineral is MAGNESIUM. which plays a quite important role. It has a balancing effect on  Calcium metabolism and also prevents plaque formation in arteries. Studies have found that magnesium forms strong enamel that resist tooth decay.

The more calcium you consume the higher your magnesium requirement will be.
