Hi everyone i'm an osteopath from NZ. Still pretty new to steemit (@bengiles) if you want to check me out. As far as I know I'm the first osteopath on the platform haha so feel free to ask me anything :smiley: For those who don't know what an osteopath is (completely different to a DO in the states) we are basically mechanics for the human body and have a very holistic mindset to achieve optimal health for the individual - @bengiles
In a nutshell... I quit the London rat race in 2012 and set out on a barefoot international journey which led me to Chaing Mai where I met Sabrina on a bus to Pai. Today we have two kids, Esteban & Luna. Both in consistent perfect health , both unvaccinated and both already experiencing an unschooling kind of 'education'. We moved to the south of France because Sabrina's mother has a stomach cancer. Spending time with our kids has been very effective at shifting her mother's attention away from the doom and gloom, but she won't listen to our advice regarding natural medicine. She has been told she will have to take (ridiculously expensive) chemo drugs for the rest of her life, which they are telling her will be short. It's all a bit mad really and has been a real test for Sabrina learning to let go of her mum's decisions. We can lead the horse to water but we cannot make it drink. All we can do is live by example which I believe we are doing as best we can. Regardless, we must leave France next year and continue with our international adventure because the French government have just made pre-school compulsory for three year olds, and wouldn't you know it, vaccinations are compulsory for those in pre-school. Personally, I am on a constant quest to improve myself, body and mind. And to share my journey as I go. I was lucky to discover Steemit a few months after it was created and have posted every day for over two years. Soon will be my rep 72 birthday :smiley: I quit the banking system when I left the UK in 2012 and had no idea exactly what would replace that for me till I met a man in the jungles of Bali who told me about Steemit. During the market bull run last year I was able to sell a bunch of my hard earned Steem for $8 and have been living off it since. Get ready for the next bull run my friends!
