Is it frowned upon to sell goods for STEEM on steemit?
IMO, a steemit classified section makes total sense.
I feel like it would be relatively straightforward. Everyone could just tag their "for sale" items with "classifieds" or similar.
The reputation part would take care of itself if you are only accepting STEEM for payment. And especially if the person did a really personal intro post. Nobody in the community would want to screw someone over at the risk of downgrading their reputation number and potential rewards. I'm sure there would still be some scamsters, but they would be quickly found out and only the trustworthy sellers would get the majority of the business.
It sounds like this is what syscoin is trying to accomplish, but it seems like it could already be accomplished on steemit.
I'd be interested if anybody has tried this. Thanks.
