How much money and resources are going to be wasted on this war endeavor? Are the people ever going to be asked if they support the move of sending billions of dollars overseas and why not?... After all, when the public voted for one representative or another they weren't voting for their money to be sent overseas indefinitely were they? While Americans and others struggle at home just to afford food or keep a roof over their head, homelessness is growing, and healthcare systems are clamoring for more funding etc, is this truly the best use of funds? Some have been asking exactly where this money is coming from? considering the insane debt levels of the U.S. and elsewhere. Should future generations be footing this bill in the West without any say on whether they want to or not? Mind you, eventually they will make their voices heard when it comes time to vote again. But do any representatives differ in their approach to this matter aside from libertarian reps who claim they wouldn't support such a move? So far tens of billions have been directed to assist Ukraine and what has that investment reaped? It seems the situation is still ongoing and some expect it could be far from over. I suspect that the more people struggle to afford food and basic needs at home that the less support we will see for people supporting their hard-earned dollars being sent overseas. Who wants to see their paycheck blown on a cause that isn't close to home and one which arguably doesn't have a clear positive impact either? This is obvious by the fact that they keep seeking more funding after the many billions that has already been given. *Maybe they aren't making the best use of funds?* How much is it going to take? $100 billion more? $1 trillion? More? Does it matter?
