The momentous moment was 'Game of the Century' when Italy beat West Germany (4-3) in extra time in one of the 1970 World Cup semi-final.
The stadium also witnessed 'Goal of the Century' and 'Hand of God goal' by Diego Maradona in the 1986 World Cup quarter-finals when Argentina against England.
