Ok, I am going to share some of my sport achievements here 馃槂 I am not the best swimmer (that鈥檚 for sure otherwise you鈥檇 have seen me in the Olympics 馃ぃ) but considering my age, lifestyle and sport background I am not that bad either 馃檭
I am still using my Garmin Swim first generation which I had from a friend of mine. This watch proved to be the best for swimming compared even to the Forerunner 935 which I had for a couple of months and sold it. The Forerunner was not bad at all but it often added a length to my practice which never happens with the Swim. I haven鈥檛 bought the new Swim 2 because I could use it to track my swimming and cycling (if I am not mistaken) but it can鈥檛 track hikes.
I don鈥檛 like wearing something on my wrist constantly and the Swim is perfect because I wear it only in the pool. But since it鈥檚 old I have to sync it with ant+ and computer. I want to avoid using computer and I like to do everything with my smartphone. Partly due to the fact that I am working all day long with a computer and don鈥檛 want to have any relationship with it out of working hours 馃檪
I have had two Garmins and three Amazfit watches plus Amazfit Band 5 and still the oldest Swim is working best for swimming among all of them.
But I am considering switching to Suunto next months maybe. Not sure yet. If somebody has experience with both Garmin and Suunto please share your opinion.
Apart from swimming sometimes I go hiking, cycling, rock or wall climbing and working out in the near gym. Climbing and the gym work outs I don鈥檛 need to be tracked.
