Today we into the past, approx twenty years ago when top rally cars looked more similar to the normal road cars which you can buy in the saloons.
That's also a season when Seb Loeb won his 2nd World Rally Championship title as a driver with Citroen works team. That season there was more manufacturer teams then usually - Subaru, Peugeot, Citroen, Škoda, Mitsubishi... Very nice times.
That year was the year when Colin McRae drove for Škoda at Wales Rally and Rally Australia. In Australia he ressurected the team battling for the podium and even win.
That year also had a sad news because Michael 'Beef' Park got killed in an accident when he and his driver Markko Martin got off at Wales Rally with terrible result.
