It is Water Summoner versus Water Summoner. Both requires four mana and has two abilities. At this point, no one has an advatange. It only depends on the cards used that will be the key to win the battle. That is why a good line up and placing of cards is really important here.

For my front line, I put the Serpent of Eld because of its shield and number of health. While my cards in the second to fourth position are my healer and sustain cards. I put them in middle part to keep them safe from attacks. They need to survive all round because they will be the main player here. They will heal my tank and at the same time repair its shield. This will give my opponent a hard time to take down my tank/ frontline. While my card in the fifth position is the Deeplurker. Its is my main attacker, it is responsible for taking down the other cards of my opponent aside from the frontline. Hardy Stonefish is my card in last position. It will be good counter for cards with sneak ability.

After Round 1, the abilities were applied. If you will notice, we almost have the same set of cards. My only advantage is I have a healer and sustain that repair the shield of my cards.

There are still no casualties after round 2. All cards are still up. Both my tank and opponent's tank are really hard to take down. The shield of Diemonshark is really high which makes it a good tank. While my Deeplurker can't take down some cards of my opponent because most of the cards have flying ability.

After round 3, we were able to remove the shield of my opponent's front line. This means we can now easily take down the Diemonshark. However my healer and sustain are in danger from the Deeplurker of my opponent. The shields should be always active to keep them safe through out the round.

We were both able to take down one card which is the Albatross. My tank is still alive with complete shield. I can say that it can go through out the round. Once we take down the frontline of my opponent, my healer and sustain will be safe from the attacks of Deeplurker. Because it will be put in the first position and it will only focus on attacking my frontline.

They were able to attack my Scavo Hireling. Thankfully it has a shield, so it was not taken down. They now have a new frontline at round 6. In terms of number of cards I have an advantage. Aside from that, I have healer to sustain my cards.

At round 8, we were able to take down the front line of my opponent. My opponent almost take down my frontline, Serpent of Eld, but my healer and sustain were quick to save my front line.

Did your strategy work?

My strategy work and I can say that I was impressed with the combo of Merdaali Guardian and Scavo Hireling. They were able to keep my frontline alive through out the nine rounds.
