Hi all,

Another post in this series. Thank you for your support in the previous posts 😊

This series intends to determine if there are other aspects of cards that may contribute to increasing its value. Based on your feedback I can focus on more/other things – so feel free to tell me where you want me to go into further detail.
I include some analysis on where the cards fit in terms of strategy and a market analysis of the price of the card in previous months. Feel free to suggest what more do you want me to look into.
In this edition I will be looking at the Imp Bowman.

The full artwork is really cool – the smaller picture in the card does not do it justice in my opinion.

Card ID, Editions, and number of cards

Strategy

I will be focusing my analysis on the usefulness of this card in lower leagues (i.e. bronze to gold).
This card is worthy of the Epic rarity type – very low mana (just 2!), ranged, and with 3 speed and the Flying ability. Combine it with Yodin Zaku and w/e tank, and you have yourself a winning comp in low mana battles. Even the speed + flying ability under other summoners, such as pyre, makes this card really powerful.
As the mana for the battle increases, this card decreases usefulness, as there are other cards which bring more damage and survivability to the table.
A great card to have, if you can afford it, and a must if you intend to get Yodin!

Market analysis

A great card that can currently be bought at around the 2$ price range.
Let’s look at the last 6 months.

Looking at the graph, the following can be concluded:

  • in regular foil, as the overall market there is a downward tendency. The future price range most likely is dependent on the evolution of the market. No resistance can be currently identified.
  • in gold foil, it has a 100$ disparity between its lowest and highest values. This is due to the scarcity of the gold foil card, leaving it open to potential market manipulation by the few card owners.

Please let me know in the comments if there is any further information you would like me to include in future analysis.
Stay safe!
