Resto Review: Mr. Roboto

Over a month ago, the family celebrated my daughter's birthday. She wanted some sushi so we indulged her in it by going to Mr. Roboto.

If you are a fan of cartoon mechas of the 70s and 80s, you would probably have an idea where the restaurant got its name. Its wall is plastered by poster-sized images of many famous Japanese robots (or mecha) like Voltes V, Daimos, Gundam, Voltron, and others.

Mr. Roboto's offers their modern take on Japanese favorites like sushi, sashimi, and rice bowls. The serving size per order is quite generous. It is so generous that you can share one bowl with another person or two even.

We were actually surprised that the servings were that generous that we were unable to order more as it would be a waste.

The place and the food are very "Instagrammable" that I had to show my daughter how I take pictures of food.

If you think the pictures are already mouth-watering, just wait until you actually taste it as it is great. I highly recommend a visit.

Kudos to the staff as well as they were very friendly and accommodating.
