Take Back the Power from The Federal Goverment

The United States was founded upon the principles of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. In their understanding of this doctrine, they added the Bill of Rights to the Constitution which helps to protect the inalienable rights of every man, woman, and child in this country. The tenth amendment to this Bill of Rights states that "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Our founders wisely added this protection into our Bill of Rights in an attempt to help the citizens retain their power and to curtail overreach by the federal government. We need representatives in Washington who understand this principle, and will stand by it and work to uphold and defend the rights and liberties of all citizens.
