One day with the great scientist, Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose

Recently I had a visit to Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose house. It was really exciting for me as read many articles about him from my childhood but did not get the opportunity to visit. Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, the scientist, botanist born in Munsiganj (Bikrampur) of Bangladesh. He was the early inventor of Radio (later the work completed and published by Guglielmo Marconi). He also did a great job on plant science.

Bose is considered the father of Bengali science fiction, and also invented the crescograph, a device for measuring the growth of plants. A crater on the moon has been named in his honour.
