Deposits and handshakes given.

It was early to bed and a very early morning to rise. What a positive day it turned out to be! Many planets seemed to align themselves; the situation of being on the hard may not be as long as originally thought.

Chris, the owner, texted me at 9:30, or so, saying he was running a bit late with traffic. Explained to him that we could start without him yet he would be helpful answering any technical questions which Hugh, the surveyor, might have. As it turned out he did. It was very gracious of Chris to be there, in my opinion. It may not have been mentioned yet it is a 2 hour drive one way to where he resides.

Hugh was incredible!!! My guess is that he was there the better part of 5 hours. Hundreds of pictures and a walk around video. Looking forward to the final report; yet Makina passed the test it seems. He had a TODO list of stuff that could wait for a summer of feeling her out, yet should be kept monitored in some cases. Things to keep a watch on. He was informative, diligent and was it mentioned, HE WAS FROM HALIFAX! My home town! What are the odds?!?

After explaining to Hugh about the engine not being fully installed, he had a diesel mechanic looking at the present state of the install 45 minutes later! Hugh rocks!

Things were moving at lightning speed it seems, or is that relativity thing a thing?? It seems like a matter of if you wait long enough, things are gonna happen.

Deposit down and the end of the month set for closing.

Very exciting!

May the wind be at your back!
