Instructions:

Boil the Potato, mash and keep aside. Take the cold pastry sheets from fridge and keep out to thaw for an hour. Meanwhile, cook the green peas and corn together in little water. Heat butter in a pan and add chopped onions, ginger garlic paste and sauté well. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, Garam Masala powder and fry. Chop the carrots into small squares and add to the pan. Mix well with the masala and cover and cook for two minutes on medium flame. Add the cooked corn, green peas and combine well.

Cut the Capsicum and Paneer into small cubes and add to the pan. Fry for some time, adjust salt and cover and cook for two minutes more. Finally add the mashed potato and mix well. Your Paneer Puffs filling is ready.

Roll the pastry sheet and cut into 10 equal parts (rectangular shape). Put a spoonful of Paneer filling in the lower middle part of the pastry portion. Wet the top side and bottom side with water and bring the top part to cover the filling and seal the wet ends by gently pressing together. Make two or three deep slits on top with a knife to release the steam. Place in a baking tray and brush with water on tops.

Bake in a preheated oven (220o C) for 25 – 30 minutes or until it turns light golden brown. Take out from the oven and brush the top with melted butter for a rich glaze.
