Honeydew Pearls Topping With Vanila Ice-Cream

During a hot day, how good if we can enjoy a bowl of cold dessert . We may purchase all the ingredients when shopping at supermarket and prepare for it anytime at home.

I have shared the pumpkin sago dessert in my previous blog. Today, I would like to share another flavor of fruit sago dessert recipe.

∼∼Honeydew Pearls Topping With Vanila Ice-Cream

Ingredients:


Honeydew 500g
Sago 70g
Coconut cream powder 50g
Water 1 litre
Vanila Ice-Cream 1-2scoops
Molasses sugar 3 table spoons

Directions:

  1. Boil the sago with 1 litre of water in a pot under medium heat. Stirring it once for a while. Cover the pot with lid when boiling and off the heat. Let the sago stay in the hot pot for around 20 minutes untill all sago totally cooked.

  2. Remove the hot water in the pot and soak those sago pearls in a bowl of ice/cold water. Put aside.

  3. Cut the 250g of honeydew into small cubes.

  4. Blend the 250g of honeydew with 500g of water.

  5. Boil the coconut cream powder and red sugar with 500g of water. Off the heat when boiling. Wait it cool down.

  6. Add the honey dew juice, honeydew scoops and sago into the coconut cream. Mix well.

  7. Put into refrigerator.

  8. Take a bowl of cold honeydew dessert and add a scoop of vanila ice-cream. It is ready to serve.
