Banana Toffee Pie or simply Banoffee Pie is one of my favorite. I love the combination of banana and toffee, so creamy and yummy!
INGREDIENTS;
- 2 Cups Crushed Grahams
- 1 Pack Chilled All-purpose cream
- 1 Cup Condensed milk
- 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
- 2 Pcs. Ripe Banana
- *Chocolate sprinkle is optional. I just used it to decorate my cake. though, I still not good in decorating cakes.
Method
For Toffee
- In a pan, pour 1/2 of condensed milk over low heat. Stir continuously until thick. or
- *You can also try 1 can unopened condensed milk boil in a deep saucepan for 3 hours. make sure that the can is covered with water at all times during cooking.
The Pie
- Pour the crushed graham into a baking pan
- Melt butter in a low fire and pour into the crushed graham
- Mix until well combined and press to mold our base
- Slice the Banana and arrange on top of the crushed graham
- Pour the toffee on top of the banana
- In a Bowl, pour the chilled All-purpose cream and whip, add gradually the remaining condensed milk and whip again
- Pour the cream mixture into the base.
- Sprinkle the remaining crushed graham and decorate
- Chill for several hours
- Serve and Enjoy!
