Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who could ever resist a Chocolate Chip Cookie? Crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Of course, it's everyone's favorite!

Let me share with you my recipe!

I've been making this for years, and I'm pretty sure it will be a big hit to your family and friends! Trust me, they're so easy to make. :)

Now, gather all these ingredients so we can start. :)

A).
1 1/2 + 2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch (optional)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda

B).
1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 whole egg +1 egg yolk (room temperature)
2 tsp pure vanilla
1/8 tsp almond extract (optional)

C).
1 1/4 cup Good quality Chocolate Chips (You can add more if you're a chocoholic like I am!)

Got them? Okay, good!

Now, here are the steps!

Preheat your oven to 170-175°C.

1). In a bowl, sift all the ingredients A twice (flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda). Set aside.

2). In another bowl, put the butter and sugar. Using a whisk or a mixer, mix them until it's light and fluffy.

3). Add the eggs (Remember, it's one whole egg and one egg yolk) then splash in the vanilla and almond extract. Continue to mix well until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. (I'm pretty sure you're gonna love the smell of this mixture! Hmm!)

4). Now combine the mixture A and mixture B. Make sure that you don't over mix, okay?

5). Fold in the chocolate chips. :)

6). Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet.

7). Bake them for 8-10 minutes or until they turn golden brown. The center of the cookie will be soft.

8). Cool them in a cooling rack before serving. But if you can't resist, eat them right away but be careful!

Best eaten with a glass of cold milk!

ENJOY!!! :)
