Today, I want to show you guys how to make Korean BBQ at home which is I had requested from few Steemians by comments. If you guys know or not, there is a lot of kind Korean BBQ. Among them, today I would like to introduce you how to enjoy delicious pork belly (aka. Samgyupsal) at home!
The ingredients that you can’t be missed for Korean barbecue must be a Ssam-jang sauce and lots of lettuce !!!! In addition, it would be better with delicious with Korean spicy salad ;)
Here is my recipe for Korean spicy salad.
First of all, cut vegetables with your hand. You can add some carrots as well if you want, it would make the salad more delicious and colorful.
Salad sauce is really easy! You can think red pepper powder, soy sauce, vinegar as 1, sugar, chopped garlic, sesame oil as 1/2 ratio.
If you mix the sauce with veggies that’s it ;)
I sprinkled some dry cranberries and crushed peanuts at the end. (kind of a Fusion version)
As a side dish, I made Japanese cucumbers salad called Goma-kyu. This is even easier to make!! You can mix sesame oil, salt, pepper, red chili powder and sesame seeds and put on the cucumber. This is super simple but really delicious and healthy.
And we’re going to grill the pork with frying pan. Yes, Korean people use frying pan a lot when we want to have simple barbecue at home.
Wipe the oil with the paper towel and while you grill the pork.
If it’s almost cooked, you can cut it with scissors put on a plate with a paper towel.
