Carrot Capsicum Raita / Carrot Simla Mirchi Perugu Pachadi – Raita Recipes

Carrot capsicum raita is a delicious Indian recipe served as a side dish. This is a best combination to be served with rotis along with any other side dish, make it very easy for bachelors.

For Raita :

  • 1 small cup Yogurt/Curd
  • 3 sp grated Carrot
  • 3 sp finely chopped Capsicum
  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1 sp finely chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste

For Popu :

  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 2 Red Chillies
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 1 sp Oil

Method :

1 . Place yogurt in a mixing bowl and whisk well. Then add above ingredients except popu.

2 . Mix well and keep aside. Heat oil in a small frying pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add it to prepared curd mixture and mix well. Now carrot capsicum raita is ready. Serve it to a side dish for rice or roti.
