South Korean Bird Cafe Fun

The different kinds of cafes you can find in South Korea are truly amazing. There is always some new trend or a new way/style to lure customers. This time we visited a bird cafe. Not that uncommon, but I was surprised at how well the owner handled the birds; they were truly his pets and not his business associates. The funniest thing was an African Grey who became a little bitey with the customers and then with the owner. The owner pretended to bite it back—I loved that. Tit for tat! The bird was annoyed but also amused by this and eventually got itself under control. It was so sweet to see their relationship.

Some of the older and bigger birds were not used to chilling with the customers, so they normally kept to themselves. They did perk up whenever we were around with some seeds, though. Overall, the policy was "look, but don't touch."Overall, it was a no go limit. Look, but don't touch.

This was indeed a great experience! Is it worth the price? I doubt it, as you have to pay an entrance fee and buy something to drink. The options were coffee or juice. I found it a little expensive, though, but it was nice seeing an African Grey again. It has been a while...

Next time, we should try a dog cafe!

Thanks for reading and be ready for the next South Korean experience!
