Larissa and Jane walked through the field visibility shivering out of fear, it was midnight on Halloween night and they didn't know where they were heading, but in their head, it was better than the cemetery that they were locked in.
You see, Larissa and her best friend Jane were being initiated into a sorority and they had to go through a hazing ritual to be successful, they didn't know what to expect when it started, but surely they weren't expecting to spend the night with people who had left the world.
“This is all your fault Larissa”
“How is this my fault?”
“Well you made us apply to be in this silly sorority and now, we are going through this crap”
“You make it seem like you were forced to join, I didn't even ask you to”
“Oh, now you say this”...
Larissa and Jane were still arguing when they heard some branches shake, they immediately pointed their barely bright torches to the area where the sound came from hoping to see some animal of some sort but, their hearts sank when they saw a masked man holding a bat.
Their first instinct was to run and they began running as fast as they could until they got to an abandoned building with the tag “Halloween horror”.
They stood in front of the building and reconsidered going in due to how the place looked but when they looked behind them, they could see the masked man encroaching on them and this made them run in.
The moment they enter the house, the door slammed on itself and they heard the key lock, they didn't understand what was happening, however, they decided not to ask question and instead proceeded to go hide in one of the rooms.
Hiding under a broken bed they found in the room they had entered, they heard footsteps getting closer and at that moment, they had tears dripping down their eyes.
“If anything happens to us Jane, I want you to know that I am sorry I got us into this mess and I love you”
“I love you too Larissa, please just hold me”
The girls held each other as the footsteps grew closer and they closed their eyes waiting for the worse when they noticed that the man was close to the bed.
Awaiting some sort of pain, they were met with laughter which made them come out of the bed, and they were met with faces of members of their sorority and a male aid who usually helped around the sorority house.
Confused and scared, they asked what was happening and they were told that the whole thing was also part of the hazing rituals and since they acted smart, they had passed, and they were officially in the sorority.
Looking at each other, they instantaneously busted into laughter feeling relieved, and when they had gotten home, they told themselves that they were surely going to have fun tormenting the next set of girls coming to join their sorority.
