Travel and experience there Cileunca

Situ Cileunca is a natural attraction and artificial lake with an area of 181 hectares and is at an altitude of 1550 m above sea level. Situ Cileunca is located in Pulosari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung, West Java.
Situ Cileunca is not a lake that is formed naturally, Situ is an artificial lake that was built to meet the needs of electricity and as a reserves of clean water for residents of Bandung. When viewed from its history, at first the Cileunca area is a wilderness area owned by a Dutchman named Kuhlan (some say that Kuhlan is Willem Hermanus Hoogland owner of Borderij N.V. Almanak).

When viewed from the time of construction, Situ Cileunca is related to the existence of Malabar radio transmitters around the Pangalengan area, namely on Mount Puntang. The construction of Situ Cileunca took 7 years estimated between 1919-1926. Clocked the flow of Cileuca River and flowed through the Dam Dam Pulo.
In ancient times, Situ Cileunca had been used as a tourist spot by the Dutch, tourists at that time usually swim on the edge or boat the boat around the lake. Previously there was a Dutch ship filled with drowning tourists there Cileunca. When Situ Cileunca was sternly for the dam maintenance, residents found part of the Dutch ship at the bottom of the lake.\

One more interesting is a long permanent bridge stretching. This bridge is called the Cinta Bridge. The origin of the formation of this bridge is to facilitate access between Pulosari Village and Wanasari Village, which is separate because of Situ Cileunca. Usually in the afternoon, this bridge is visited by young couples from the two villages, so this bridge is named the Cinta Bridge.\
