Visiting Kemenuh Butterfly Park

The Kemenuh Butterfly Park is located in Kemenuh Village, Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia. It was three and half hours drive from my village in west Bali. There was not so many people visited the park when I went there.

I walked into the park through a Balinese style gate through a curtain of plastics chains. Passing the gate, I saw a pond in front of me. It seemed to be a cooling view in this hot in Balinese dress were sitting relaxing by the pond. (Err, those frogs were statue 😅)

According to staff, this area was supposed to be the tropical garden, and the butterfly park was just beyond this garden.

I saw various plants on the "tropical garden" but mostly orchids of different colors. I guess the orchids made this place look prettier. There was also a selfie places for the visitors.

It was not a long walk through the garden. I think it was fifteen minutes or even less, unless you are into orchids. I saw another gate, this one lead to an enclosure: the butterfly park.

Opening the curtain, I stepped into the park. And guess what, there were more flowers, and ponds inside. However this time there were butterflies flying everywhere.

There was hardly any information regarding the butterflies inisde the park. I did not see any staff walking to explain the butterflies. Well, the park was still recently opened so they were still in their preparation stage. I think in the future things will improve.

Nevertheless, it was a beautiful park.
