Chamomile Infusion on a Lazy Afternoon

Life has its ups and downs, when there's too much tension it's easier to succumb to anxiety and just curl up.

Well, it's not wrong to withdraw for a while. We can't just invalidate what state we are in.

In times like this, I prefer cutting off for a while, just being silent and enjoying solitude.

With so much thought coming in alongside responsibilities that is urgent and important, there's a thin line between messing up and giving up.

No Added Sugar

When feeling down, in flash, you suddenly need sweets and desserts. While tempting, sugar will make you energized for a while then make you feel groggy an hour after.

It will make your thoughts fuzzier and have more tension.

If you need something sweet, an apple can be helpful for a cloudy mind. It helps clear thoughts and has nutrients to boost your day.

Cupboard Café

When thoughts begin clashing, I frequent my visit to Cupboard Café and become my own barista.

It's not accross the road or a mile away trip, it's just a few steps to the kitchen cupboard. There could be teas and infusions waiting for you to brew and steep.

Green tea, Flavored Black tea, Peppermint infusion, and Chamomile infusion is a staple.

Sometimes I mix two, Green tea and Peppermint? Refreshing. Chamomile and Peppermint? Relaxing.

Just a cup (or two) of chamomile infusion, is enough for a day. It goes from hot to cold for hours of just tiny sips, no hurry!

The mind is calm and when the day is over, it's no surprise that a lot of things were done.
