Stainless steel temple, Hatyai, Thailand

This is the first time that I've seen a temple that was built entirely from Stainless steel. This temple is pretty unique as it is corrosion proof and entirely made of stainless steel.

Not far from Hatyai city, we drove all the way up here. Yes, up here. The small narrow winding roads. I don't think you would want to come here at night. The roads are super narrow and as I drove up, I did not see any street lights. At some point of time, I was thinking if I was up the correct lane or not.

When you are here, your greeted by the deity.

As you drive in you are greeted by this magnificent steel structure. Firstly, it's on top of a hill and then I wonder how they managed to move so much metal up these mountains.

Each round entrance is a deity. Each a buddha.

No shoes upon this point

A ceremony

The little ceremony where I guess, the monk was there to bless those who needed blessing.

The snake god

The stainless steel temple

It's amazing how this building looks from the outside. So perfectly built. I couldn't find flaws at all. You can actually step inside and walk around. You can also visit the second floor.

The interior building

Circular with lots of reinforced stainless steel structure.

Stainless steel steps that lead to the first floor

Circular round steps that lead to the first floor of the building. Slightly tight stairs up and down.

This part of the building looks magnificent

Stainless steel beams, columns and pictures. A lot of effort went into building the whole structure.

Different days of the week

Each different area is dedicated to different days of the week. You can go to each of these rooms to visit different buddhas.

A picture with the temple

Everything in silver.

After touring around the whole temple, it was time to head back to Hatyai city.

Some photos of the area.

The little bells to hit when you head out of the temple. I guess for good luck. I enjoyed looking at this magnificent temple in Hatyai. You can put this place on your bucket list if in the future, you do visit Hatyai.

Hope that you enjoy reading this post. Till the next post.
Have a great day.
