alternatetext

The Traveler (2010) is a Canadian-American supernatural horror film directed by Michael Oblowitz and starring Val Kilmer.

The film tells the story of a drifter named Mr. Nobody (Kilmer) who enters a small-town police station on Christmas Eve and confesses to six murders. The police officers are skeptical at first, but when Mr. Nobody begins to accurately describe the murders, they start to believe him.

As the night goes on, Mr. Nobody begins to tell the police officers a strange story about his past. He claims to be a traveler from another time who has been tasked with killing six specific people. The police officers don't know whether to believe him, but they can't deny that something strange is happening.

One by one, the six people on Mr. Nobody's list are killed in gruesome ways. The police officers are powerless to stop him, and they begin to wonder if he is really a supernatural being.

In the end, it is revealed that Mr. Nobody is actually a serial killer who has been using his religious beliefs to justify his crimes. He is killed by one of the officers, and the film ends with the officers trying to come to terms with what they have just experienced.

The Traveler is a dark and disturbing film that explores the themes of fate, free will, and the power of belief. It is a film that will stay with you long after you have seen it.

Please note that the film has received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising its atmosphere and performances and others criticizing its plot and pacing.
