The 2006 film The Marine is an American action film directed by John Bonito and starring John Cena, Kelly Carlson, Robert Patrick, and Abigail Bianca. The film follows the story of John Triton (Cena), a recently discharged Marine who is forced to fight for his life and the life of his wife, Kate (Carlson), after they are kidnapped by a gang of diamond thieves led by Rome (Patrick).

The film opens with Triton being discharged from the Marines after disobeying orders during a mission to rescue hostages from a terrorist organization. Triton is struggling to adjust to civilian life, and he is fired from his job as a security guard for using excessive force on an employee's ex-boyfriend.

Triton and Kate decide to take a vacation to a remote coastal town. While they are at a gas station, they are approached by Rome and his gang. The gang members kill one of the police officers who is at the gas station, and they kidnap Kate.

Triton is determined to rescue his wife, and he sets off after the gang. He is aided by Angela (Bianca), a member of the gang who has a change of heart.

The film culminates in a final confrontation between Triton and Rome. Triton is able to defeat Rome and rescue his wife.

The Marine is a classic action film that features plenty of exciting fight scenes and shootouts. Cena is in top form as the determined and resourceful Triton, and he is ably supported by Carlson, Patrick, and Bianca. The film is a must-see for fans of action movies and John Cena.
