alternatetext

In the 1995 film Dracula: Dead and Loving It, Count Dracula (Leslie Nielsen) leaves his Transylvanian castle to seek new blood in Victorian London. He is accompanied by his loyal but dim-witted servant Renfield (Peter MacNicol).

Dracula soon sets his sights on Mina Seward (Amy Yasbeck), a beautiful young woman who is engaged to Jonathan Harker (Steven Weber). However, Dracula's plans are complicated by the arrival of Professor Abraham Van Helsing (Mel Brooks), a renowned vampire hunter.

The film is a parody of classic vampire films, such as Bram Stoker's Dracula and Nosferatu. It is full of slapstick humor and groan-worthy puns.

The plot of the film follows the basic outline of Bram Stoker's novel, but with a number of comedic twists. For example, Dracula is portrayed as a charming and bumbling figure who is more interested in finding a good cup of coffee than in sucking blood.

The film also features a number of memorable supporting characters, such as Dr. Seward (Harvey Korman), Lucy Westenra (Lysette Anthony), and Inspector Kemp (Charles Keating).

Dracula: Dead and Loving It is a lighthearted and enjoyable film that is sure to please fans of both horror and comedy.
