As soon as my dad found out the date of his vacation, he suggested that we take a trip together to some part of our beautiful country Argentina. It's not the first time we've traveled together, but it's the first time we're not going to the beach: when it comes to summer vacations, most people choose the Buenos Aires coast, but it occurred to me that this year we could do something different. . This included a plane ride, his first flight, and I was very excited to see what he would feel like once we were above the clouds ❤️.
Ni bien mi papá supo la fecha de sus vacaciones, me propuso hacer un viaje juntos a alguna parte de nuestro hermoso país Argentina. No es la primera vez que viajamos juntos, pero si la primera vez que no vamos a la playa: cuando se trata de las vacaciones de verano, la mayoría de la gente elige la costa bonaerense pero se me ocurrió que este año podríamos hacer algo diferente. Esto incluía un viaje en avión, el primer vuelo para él, y yo estaba muy emocionada por ver cual sería su sensación una vez que estuviéramos por encima de las nubes ❤️.
The destination I chose for this trip was the town of Capilla del Monte, in the province of Córdoba. There was a more direct way to leave from Buenos Aires and it was by bus, but I wanted us to travel by plane at some point. Making this journey meant having to take a flight from Buenos Aires to the city of Córdoba, then a regular bus to the bus station and then a long-distance bus to the town of Capilla. It sounded like a long journey but it was worth it because air travel is always great 😅.
El destino que elegí para este viaje fue el pueblo de Capilla del Monte, en la provincia de Córdoba. Había una forma más directa para ir saliendo desde Buenos Aires y era en micro, pero yo quería que viajemos en avión en algún momento. Hacer este trayecto implicó tener que tomar un vuelo desde Buenos Aires hasta la ciudad de Córdoba, luego un bus regular hasta la terminal de ómnibus y luego un micro de larga distancia hasta el pueblo de Capilla. Sonaba como una travesía bastante larga pero valía la pena porque viajar en avión siempre es genial 😅.
The good thing about plane tickets is that if you book them early enough you can get even lower prices than long-distance buses. I think that many people are unaware of this because historically traveling by plane was very expensive, but with the arrival of low-cost airlines the panorama has changed. Also, last year I bought the membership of this airline to pay even less on each ticket and luckily I was able to take advantage of it because I traveled several times ❤️.
Lo bueno que tienen los pasajes de avión es que si los sacas con la suficiente anticipación podes conseguir precios incluso más bajos que los micros de larga distancia. Pienso que esto mucha gente lo desconoce porque históricamente viajar en avión era muy caro, pero con la llegada de las aerolíneas low-cost es panorama ha cambiado. Además, el año pasado compré la membresía de esta aerolínea para pagar incluso menos en cada pasaje y por suerte pude aprovecharla bastante porque viajé varias veces ❤️.
To make the trip even cheaper, I chose the flight that left at 5.30 AM. At first, this hour seemed quite complicated since we do not live near the airport, but I knew that somehow we would arrive on time. What I had not thought of at the time of purchase is that at that time it is sunrise and that we would have the advantage of seeing the sunrise from above. This was a big surprise for me and if I was already excited for my dad's first trip, now I was even more ❣️.
Para que el viaje me saliera aún más barato, elegí el vuelo que salía a las 5.30 AM. Al principio esta hora me pareció bastante complicada ya que nosotros no vivimos cerca del aeropuerto, pero sabía que de alguna manera íbamos a llegar a tiempo. Lo que no había pensado en el momento de la compra es que a esa hora es el amanecer y que tendríamos la ventaja de ver la salida del sol desde arriba. Esto fue una gran sorpresa para mí y si ya estaba emocionada por el primer viaje de mi papá, ahora lo estaba aún más ❣️.
During the flight we had an incredible show of clouds in pastel tones while the sun was rising. In recent times I have traveled many times by plane, during the day, at night, with cloudy skies, with clear skies, but I assure you that this was the most beautiful and magical trip of all. I know there are many people who travel regularly so during the flight they go to sleep and that's it, but I'm always glued to the window, mesmerized by what I see ❤️.
Durante el vuelo tuvimos un increíble show de nubes en tonos pasteles mientras iba saliendo el sol. En este último tiempo viajé muchas veces en avión, de día, de noche, con cielo nueblado, con cielo despejado, pero les aseguro que este fue el viaje más hermoso y mágico de todos. Sé que hay mucha gente que viaja regularmente entonces durante el vuelo se echan a dormir y ya, pero yo siempre voy pegada a la ventana, hipnotizada por lo que veo ❤️.

As I watched this beautiful sunrise, all those songs by Lana del Rey that I consider "aesthetic" played in my mind. This term is used to describe all those things that are pleasing to the senses and this flight was the perfect description of this. Seeing the clouds from above always gives you an incredible and indescribable feeling, and it is something that you have to experience at least once in your life. That is why I recommend that if you can ever travel by plane, do not hesitate because it is a wonderful experience ❣️.
A medida que iba viendo este amanecer hermoso en mi mente sonaban todas esas canciones de Lana del Rey que yo considero "aesthetic". Este término se usa para describir todas aquellas cosas que son agradables a los sentidos y este vuelo estaba siendo la descripción perfecta de esto. Ver las nubes desde arriba siempre te genera una sensación increíble e indescriptible, y es algo que al menos hay que vivir una vez en la vida. Es por eso que recomiendo que si alguna vez pueden viajar en avión, ni lo duden porque es una experiencia maravillosa ❣️.
As for my dad and his experience on his first plane ride, everything went well for him, even though he couldn't stop laughing. I say it was nerves, but he denied it. He felt that his ears were covered and every time the plane went up or down or there was a little turbulence, he closed his eyes haha. All this is normal, it is inevitable to feel a bit afraid when you think that you are thousands of meters above the ground, in a multi-ton vehicle in the air, but to be able to fully enjoy it the only option is to surrender to the moment. In our case, it was a journey of less than two hours, so it wasn't that terrible either 😅.
En cuanto a mi papá y a su experiencia en su primer viaje en avión, todo salió bien para él, aunque no paraba de reirse. Yo digo que eran nervios, pero él lo negaba. Sentía que se le tapaban los oídos y cada vez que el avión subía o bajaba o había una pequeña turbulencia cerraba los ojos jaja. Todo esto es normal, es inevitable sentir un poco de miedo al pensar que estas a miles de metros del suelo, en un vehículo de varias toneladas en el aire, pero para poder disfrutarlo completamente la única opción es entregarse al momento. En nuestro caso, era un viaje de menos de dos horas, así que tampoco era tan terrible 😅.
When we arrived in the city of Córdoba a little before 7 AM, the weather was not the best: it was raining and quite cold. We were only less than halfway there, because we still had more than 3 hours of travel to reach Capilla del Monte, so we had plenty of time to give the weather a chance to improve. All this journey was worth it and it turned out perfectly well: we saved a lot on tickets, my dad had his first plane flight and I got to see the most beautiful sunrise of my life, I couldn't have asked for anything more ❤️.
Cuando llegamos a la ciudad de Córdoba un poco antes de las 7 AM, el clima no era el mejor: estaba lloviendo y hacía bastante frío. Recién estábamos a menos de mitad de camino, porque nos faltaban más de 3 horas de viaje hasta llegar a Capilla del Monte, así que teníamos bastante tiempo para darle al clima la oportunidad de mejorar. Toda esta travesía valió la pena y salió perfectamente bien: ahorramos bastante en los pasajes, mi papá tuvo su primer vuelo en avión y yo pude ver el amanecer más hermoso de mi vida, no podría haber pedido nada más ❤️.
