Hey there fellow foodies of Hive! I just found the most affordable Samgyupsal place in Cebu that sells premium pork belly Samgyupsal with the tastiest sauces and side dishes. SamgyupChoi is located in Mandaue City, Cebu.

It's an alfresco way to dine since their restaurant is situated at a rooftop. The breezy air really added to the vibes of the place. Unlike the typical samgyupsal restaurant, their grilling pan is supported by a gasoline tank, under the dining tables.

We arrived at 7:30pm, a long queue was waiting in the side of the restaurant but my friends and I didn't mind as we were all craving for samgyupsal. Finally, after 30 minutes, we were able to get a seat.

For P199.00 (2 USD) per person, we can already enjoy an unlimited premium meat and their sauces, side dishes like kimchi, fermented egg plant, and fried sweet potatoes, rice and bottomless iced tea! I just found the perfect place for my samgyupsal craving that is budget friendly. They also have add-ons like melted cheese, ramen, and cabbage for an additional price. Despite having only pork meat from their menu, and no beef, we still had a sumptuous meal.

Aside from their excellent service, we've learned that this humble restaurant hire part time employees, mostly students and offer them free lodging. To me, it's already a huge help for the future of these young students. I hope more establishments follow these good practices.

The only down side in this restaurant, aside from the long queue, is that the floors are sticky, probably because of the smoke coming from the grill.

Overall, we had a great experience! We will surely come back to this place again. Rating: 4/5

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

Love, Jane
