Let's see what we have for this week's roundup.

Week on Hive

Hive Events: HiveFest in Rosarito, Mexico; Hive at Web3 Event in Berlin

The announcement was made regarding where and when this year's HiveFest will take place. It will be in Rosarito, Mexico, between 22 and 26 September.

Also, something that came up in one of the previous weekly roundups, but now we have the official announcement. Hive is sponsoring and have representatives speaking at the Web3 Event in Berlin.

One of the things that will likely be presented at HiveFest will be the Freechain film. Here's a preview of the film.

Splinterlands Updates

Splinterlands is getting ready to introduce Guild Power, a different kind of "token" for guilds that mostly goes with the contributor, if one is no longer in the guild (90% of the contribution, 10% remains in the guild).

Guild Power is also one of the guaranteed benefits of burning DEC or DEC-B during the anniversary event.

On the Genesis League Goals front, Splinterlands published a post explaining how card leveling and combining will work.

3Speak Mobile Apps (iPhone Approved)

After having the Android app approved recently, 3Speak had the iPhone app approved this week as well.

Soon after, they published a post talking about their new update for both mobile apps, on Android and iPhone.

Leofinance Updates

The Leofinance AMA was filled with information about already rolled out updates and others that are coming. Plus considerations about the close future of Leofinance from Khal. I recommend listening to it.

I'd also look at some of their recent posts. There are either some tips on what's coming or they are asking for feedback from the community on what to do which certain features.

SPI & BROfund Join Forces For Another Project: Daily DAB

Presale for the first tranche of DBOND started today. Staked DBONDs will mint daily DAB tokens at a 15% APR. Holders of liquid DAB are paid daily HIVE drips. You have all the details in here and the links inside.

Royal Reptile and Their [Hive] Blockchain Games

Royal Reptile - developers of PsyberX and Serfdom & Sorcery, among others - has put together a post with their blockchain games and their statuses.

Week in the Crypto World

Wallet-as-a-service (WaaS) provider Magic received around $80m USD funding from Paypal and other venture capitalists to "serve as a facto WaaS provider for companies that are searching for safe and easy ways to bring their customers over to web3".

Magic’s software development kit provides an all-in-one package for user onboarding, which includes authentication, fiat on-ramps, nonfungible token (NFT) minting and NFT checkout it is said in the article.

Crypto.com Gets License After License

This is probably an inevitable route for all companies that serve as gateways between the fiat and the crypto world and want to operate legally in most jurisdictions where digital assets will be regulated.

Crypto.com recently announced they received the license as a Major Payment Institution for Digital Payment Token from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. They also have some kind of license in France, UK, Dubai, South Korea, Australia, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Cayman.
