Hi Hivers in PhotoFeed community, how's your Christmas holiday? As for me, some friends came to visit me, so we had a good Christmas together. They are friends from Ho Chi Minh city, the largest city in Vietnam, so I decided to take them around to discover the beauty of Mang Den, a mountainous town where I live.
My friends do different jobs in the big city, they lead a busy life. Christmas is not a holiday in Vietnam, so we don't have time off work. But luckily, this year Christmas is weekend, so my friends decided to take a trip over 700km to visit my place.
They decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind so that both visit me and enjoy a peaceful Christmas break. I was delighted with their visit, however it was my pressure to make a memorable time for them.
I took them around to discover natural destinations that I thought would appeal to them. Luckily, my friends enjoyed the destinations I took them to. We also had a good time chatting in the car while on the road. They told me about the busy life they had in the city, and I told them about my peaceful life in this remote mountain area.
Initially choosing to abandon the city to return to a distant land like this was very difficult. However, for now, I think it was the right decision. Despite the deprivations in a faraway land, I enjoyed the fresh air, the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful scenery here. You can see the beauty of this land through the below pictures I took of my friends at several places in my place.
