My Journey Through the Graphite World - Rural Evryday Life.

Morning is probably not the best time to start drawing because thoughts are directed to quickly feel the aroma of coffee but nevertheless I will risk starting my story about my drawings or more accurately I will continue it this morning.

So, if you have already visited my blog you know that I started publishing posts about my drawings that I draw using graphite pencils.

The story is chronological and it begins in December 2022, when after a very long break almost thirty-eight years I tried to pick up a graphite pencil and draw something.

I started the story with my first drawings and below you can see links to each post that tells about one of them.

I chose several directions as a basis or idea for my drawings, this is a simple rural life and its way of life since I like to go to the forest for mushrooms and I like to fish, this theme is also traced in my drawings and I draw illustrations for chapters of the Bible I hope I have not forgotten to list anything.

Today I want to present you one of my first works which I will call "Rural Everyday Life" this is quite consistent with what you will see.

I depicted people peasants who are resting in a melon field after righteous work.

Although they see each other every day they have something to talk about something to tell and something to laugh about.

Maybe someone will think that their work is routine but as a rule rural residents really love what they do and get pleasure from this work.

There was a time when I looked at Saddle life as a curiosity occasionally visiting distant relatives living in the village or looking at the villages and fields through the car window but one day everything changed and we acquired a plot of land in the village and began building a house you could say we began to be villagers, although for now this is a commute between the city and the village.

Therefore this topic is more than close to me.

At the time when I took up work on the drawing I had very little opft and the drawing technique left much to be desired.

But everything in the world is relative.

Who knows if one day practicing this business and achieving the desired result I can create something significant that will attract the attention of art critics then my first drawings regardless of their quality can become very valuable pictures lol.

Everything is like in nature, from small to large a bird does not become an adult right away and a pumpkin needs fertile soil sun and time in order to grow from a small seed into a huge fruit.

Each of my new drawings brought me some confidence, no matter what it was each time I learned something new for myself.

But a strange feeling comes to me when I am from one table I understand that the number of ideas for drawings is unlimited as the sky, but on the other hand I have to choose one thing from this mass and it is not easy.

I tried to imagine how the collection of drawings would look but now there are so many drawings that it is difficult to fit them into one photo or they will be too small.

Enjoy watching and reading, friends!
