BRO and THGAMING: Targets Achieved!
On Hive, in besides the layer 1 tokens, i.e., HIVE and HBD, there are also a myriad of layer 2 tokens, which are available on Hive Engine and often come with interesting features, such as SPS, the Splinterlands governance token, or LEO, the pivot on which the InLeo ecosystem runs.
Since I arrived on Hive, I have tried to identify what I thought were the most interesting layer 2 tokens and, in accordance with my efforts to increase my HP, I have tried to accumulate small amounts of these tokens as well, attempting to set myself some goals to achieve.
Today, after a long time, I finally managed to achieve not one, but two of these goals!
10 BRO
The first is about @raymondspeaks' BRO token.
This is a token with two very interesting use cases:
- holding it in our own wallet entitles us to receive a weekly dividend in the form of Hive
- holding it always in our own wallet in a minimum amount of at least 10 BROs allows us to receive an upvote - daily I believe - on our posts - if of good quality - proportionate to the number of BROs we own, starting from 1% for 10 BROs and going up to 100% for 1000 BROs
These are two very interesting benefits, especially for those who, like me, often post on Hive.
To obtain the BRO token one can either buy it in the marketplace or delegate HP to the @brofi account, receiving a some BROs each day in return.
I chose a mixed approach, delegating 500 HP and trading some tokens I was not interested in in exchange for BRO.
Eventually, after quite some time, I made it to the goal I had set for myself, which was to hold at least 10 BROs!
I now aim to continue to accumulate even more BROs, so as to increase both my dividend in HIVE and the upvotes I can get on my posts.
100.000 THGAMING
The second is about @jim-crypto's THGAMING token.
This is one of the first tokens I started to stack on Hive, because by posting pretty much only game-related content I started to get it through the upvotes I get on my posts.
By holding staked THGAMING it is indeed possible to curate posts with the tag #thgaming or published in the corresponding Community - just like we are used to do with our HP.
Reaching 100,000 THGAMING also gives you access to an exclusive channel on the THGaming Guild Discord.
I don't use discord much, but reaching this goal seemed interesting anyway!
And here again, after a really long time, I achieved the goal I had set for myself :)
Also, in this case, 100% of my THGAMINGs were obtained as author's rewards.
Layer 2 Tokens: not to be underestimated!
There are dozens and dozens of projects on Hive, many of which have one or more layer 2 tokens: many of these tokens offer exclusive perks and benefits, granting their holders a reward for trusting the project.
Sometimes these tokens can even be obtained simply by using - but not abusing - the right tag, thus increasing our earnings when we publish a post.
Ignoring them therefore means missing out on some of the opportunities offered by Hive and precluding ourselves from benefits or rewards associated with the Communities or projects we like the most.
Therefore, my strategy on Hive has always been to focus also on these tokens, and not only on HIVE, trying to build a balanced portfolio capable of offering me more and more benefits.

BRO e THGAMING: Obiettivi Raggiunti!
Su Hive, oltre ai tokens layer 1, ossia HIVE e HBD, esistono anche una miriade di tokens layer 2, disponibili su Hive Engine e spesso dotati di funzioni interessanti, come SPS, il token della governance di Splinterlands, o LEO, il perno su cui gira l'ecosistema di INLeo.
Sin dal mio arrivo su Hive ho cercato di identificare quelli che mi sembravano essere i tokens layer 2 più interessanti e, compatibilmente con i miei sforzi per accrescere i miei HP, ho provato ad accumulare anche piccole quantità di questi tokens, provando a pormi degli obiettivi da raggiungere.
Oggi, dopo tanto tempo, sono finalmente riuscito a raggiungere non uno, ma ben due di questi traguardi!
10 BRO
Il primo riguarda il token BRO di @raymondspeaks.
Si tratta di un token dotato di due casi d'uso molto interessante:
- detenerlo nel proprio wallet dà diritto a ricevere un dividendo settimanale sotto forma di HIVE
- detenerlo sempre nel proprio wallet nella quantità minima di almeno 10 BRO consnete di ricevere un upvote - credo giornaliero - sui propri post - se di buona qualità - proporzionato al numero di BRO che si possiedono, partendo da 1% per 10 BRO ed arrivando al 100% per 1000 BRO
Si tratta di due vantaggi molto interessanti, soprattutto per chi, come me, pubblica spesso su Hive.
Per ottenere il token BRO si può acquistarlo sul mercato oppure delegare HP all'account @brofi, ricevendo in cambio un po' di BRO ogni giorno.
Io ho scelto un approccio misto, delegando 500 HP e tradando alcuni tokens che non mi interessavano in cambio di BRO.
Alla fine, dopo parecchio tempo, ce l'ho fatta a raggiungere il traguardo che mi ero prefissato, ossia detenere almeno 10 BRO!
Adesso punto a continuare ad accumulare ancora più BRO, così da accrescere sia il mio dividendo in HIVE che gli upvotes che posso ottenere sui miei post.
100.000 THGAMING
Il secondo riguarda il token THGAMING di @jim-crypto.
Questo è uno dei primi token che ho iniziato ad accumulare su Hive, perchè postando praticamente solo contenuti riguardanti videogiochi ho cominciato ad ottenerlo grazie agli upvotes che ricevo sui miei post.
Detenendo THGAMING in staking è infatti possibile curare i post con il tag #thgaming o pubblicati nella relativa Community - proprio come siamo abituati a fare con i nostri HP.
Arrivare a 100.000 THGAMING dà inoltre accesso ad un canale esclusivo sul discord della Gilda THGaming.
Non uso molto discord, ma raggiungere questo obiettivo sembrava comunque interessante!
E anche qui, dopo davvero tanto tempo, ho raggiunto il traguardo che mi ero prefissato :)
In questo caso, inoltre, il 100% dei miei THGAMING sono stati ottenuti come author's reward.
Tokens Layer 2: da non sottovalutare!
Su Hive esistono decine e decine di progetti, di cui molti dotati di uno o più tokens layer 2: tanti di questi tokens offrono vantaggi e benefici esclusivi, che garantiscono ai loro possessori un premio per la fiducia accordata al progetto stesso.
Alcune volte questi tokens possono essere addirittura ottenuti semplicemente utilizzando - ma non abusando - il giusto tag, aumentando così i nostri guadagni quando pubblichiamo un post.
Ignorarli vuol dire quindi andare a perdere alcune delle opportunità offerte da Hive e precludersi vantaggi o premi legati alle Communities o ai progetti che più ci piacciono.
La mia strategia su Hive prevede perciò da sempre di focalizzarsi anche su questi tokens, e non solo su HIVE, cercando di costruire un portafoglio bilanciato e capace di offrirmi vantaggi sempre maggiori.
