Hi everyone !
Today the weather is great and no joke, I'm taking you to the Shire :) Yesterday it was raining and since this morning there is hardly a cloud in sight! We are in the vicinity of the tiny village of Gigors, clinging to the slopes of the Savel, the rocky plateau that you can see several times. It's really quite small, I don't think there are much more than 100 inhabitants !
This is one of the reasons why the environment is so beautiful and unspoiled. The Drôme region is one of the first in France to produce a large proportion of vegetables and fruit organically, so that explains it. In addition, the high relief makes it difficult to do intensive farming and there is mostly sheep and goat farming. To tell you the truth, this is the region where I was born and where I spent my first years, so it's probably the place, with a few others, that I know best.
Last night there was a pretty big storm and we lost the wifi. The internet box is burnt out and the reason I'm telling you this is so that you can understand how little text there is in this article. So it will be mostly visual, but I'm not too worried that you will appreciate it ! So we'll start with the road to the village, the crossing of the village and the tour of the church located not far from there. Everything else will be pure walking, with no itinerary or purpose other than to go ahead of the road, from sights to surprises !

Bonjour à tous !
Aujourd’hui le temps est radieux et pas de blague, je vous emmène dans la Comté :) Hier il pleuvait et depuis ce matin, c’est à peine si on voit un nuage à l’horizon ! Nous sommes dans les environs du tout petit village de Gigors, accroché au pentes du Savel, le plateau rocheux que vous pourrez voir à plusieurs reprises. C’est vraiment tout petit, je pense qu’il ne doit pas y avoir beaucoup plus de 100 habitants !
C’est notamment pour cette raison que l’environnement est si beau et préservé. La région de la Drôme est une des premières en France à produire une importante part de légumes et fruits biologiquement et ceci explique donc cela. De plus le relief assez important fait qu’il est difficile d’y faire une agriculture intensive et on trouve surtout de l’élevage de moutons et de chèvres. Pour tout vous dire, c’est la région dans laquelle je suis né et où j’ai passé mes premières années, c’est donc sans doute l’endroit, avec quelques autres, que je connais le mieux.
Hier soir, il y a eu un orage assez important et nous avons perdu la wifi. La box internet est grillée et si je vous dis cela, c’est pour que vous compreniez le peu de texte dans cette article. Ce sera donc surtout visuel, mais je ne me fais pas trop de soucis sur le fait que vous saurez apprécier ! On commencera donc par la route jusqu’au village, la traversée de celui-ci et le tour de l’église située non loin de là. Tout le reste sera de la balade pure, sans itinéraire ou d’autre but que d’aller au devant de la route, de curiosités en étonnements et surprises !
