Badal falls to Nupur
Dahooq bird

The cane is in the forest
Quake calls Kub
I was surprised to hear that

Care is in Jhalash
A pulse and branches,
Fly to fly

In the pond, the dove, the bill
Nala, Khalaya, Jhalay
Eats fish.

ডাহুক

ভিজে মেঘের দুপুরে
বাদল ঝরা নুপুরে,
ডাহুক পাখি ওই

বেতের বনে থাকে
কোয়াক কুব ডাকে,
শুনে অবাক হই।

কেয়ার ঝোপে আড়ালে
এ ডাল থেকে ও ডালে,
উড়ে উড়ে যায়।

পুকুর,ডোবায়,বিলে
নালা, খালায়, ঝিলে
মাছ ধরে খায়।
