Darkness rests in restricted oddity –
first days are estranged, weak in spirit.
Images sustain the frost,
what product can thaw the gate’s lock?
No product alas to heat,
to procure the act of fervour and fortune.
But these men of greatest ambition,
are privileged in radiance and rhythm –
in the furthest tides of light,
lies hidden the charge of horses.
In life, together in the freeze,
the greatest men need heat nor keys.
