#851 - The Old Spanish Era Calle Crisologo Shots for Saturday.

Greetings this weekend fellow Hiveans. It's going to be my day off tomorrow afternoon spending a shift this Saturday. I called my father around noon checking on him if he is fine and he said he is good without difficulty in breathing. He also sometimes use the nebulizer which aids in his breathing. He will return to the metropolitan next week Sunday to have a follow up check with the doctor that looked after him during his hospital admission for six days. Hopefully the follow-up check will tend with excellent results.

Now for our daily shots. Calle Crisologo in Vigan which is the Philippines' most well-preserved Spanish colonial street, comes alive during midday when we visit. The cobblestone pathway is bustling with activity as locals and tourists alike just like us stroll along, taking in the charming atmosphere and snapping photos as remembrance.

Rows of ancestral houses, their wooden facades adorned with intricate carvings and ornate iron grilles, line both sides of the street.

Vendors set up their stalls along the street, offering a variety of local delicacies such as empanadas, kakanin, and other regional specialties like the Ilocos Bagnet which is fried pork. The enticing aromas waft through the air, tempting passersby to stop and sample some of these traditional treats.

As noon approaches, the sun casts a warm glow over Calle Crisologo, turning the cobblestones into a tapestry of gold and shadows. The scene is a living testament to Vigan's rich history and cultural heritage, a true gem in the heart of the Philippines.
