#498 - One morning in Banaue, Ifugao.
A blessed Sunday to all. Hope you are all well at this time. I am going to share shots which I took last week when we passed by the town of Banaue on our way to Batad. We stopped here to eat breakfast before we go on for an hour of tricycle ride going to the jump off point near the village of Batad.
We stopped by a restaurant that has this view on the back so I took some photos while waiting for our orders to be filled. We ordered fried rice with eggs and coffee and some bananas. Here are some of the shots.
Not much has changed on this side since we're here like four or five years ago. The trees are still there but the numbers of houses seems to have increased a bit due to growing number of population here in this town.
Same scene here in this part of another mountain. The crops are still attended but the housings have increased too. Seems the farmers no longer shows interest and sell their lands to people.
Early locals who are already out in the street. This is also the same road that will take us to Batad. As seen, tricycles are the most common used transport here.
A hanging bridge that stretch for a good distance so that the people from the left side of the mountain can climb the other mountain side on the right without circling on to the road.
A small stream which gets big in time of rains. I wonder how the house in the river still there standing 😂.
