#434 - In a cave called Sumaguing.

Happy Friday and TGIF dear Hiveans. My wife and I went out again yesterday for a walk in the river but first we went to the market to get some brown rice that we usually add with white rice to reduce our carb intake since the brown rice is healthier somehow.

I also had work earlier today and finished it at three in the afternoon. Then since I no longer have anything to do after, I cleaned the electric fans and rid of the dirt which cling to the fans. Then I also did the laundry since we had a lot already because we went out several times going for a walk so that increased our clothes that needed washing.

For our today's shots let me share some continuation photos of our spelunking in the underground cave system of this remote village. Our exit is this Sumaguing cave and we have to climb up to get out. There were other group of people who are entering the cave and their guides have brought with them lamps similar to the one used by our guide. Our guide took this photo while the other people are coming down from the main entrance of the cave.

After they are done coming down then we also took the chance to go up to the exit before other groups of tourists will come down as well. Then we had this photo taken while she was holding my hand.

Then there it is, finally! A light coming out from the end of the cave. We are now almost back at the surface with just a few steps left to take.

Thanks to these handrails and also the steps which serve as stairs so we won't have difficulty going up and down the cave system. But this is only here at the entrance, after passing through here, the steps are already the natural formations of rocks which can be slippery too especially when it's raining or previously rained the other day because there will be drops of water from the cave ceiling to the rocks or floor of the cave below.

One last pose of the wife with those teeth like puncturing stones. People are not permitted to go there and we just have to follow the path which has been the standard to avoid any incidents.
