Richmond Park was created by King Charles the First in 1625. It is now a place for people to visit for sports.
Cycling, Fishing, Golf, Horse riding, Rugby and Running. There are also children's playgrounds, gardens and ponds.
Photographers visit the park all through the year and one of the main attractions is to see the deer wandering around in the open park.
Of course, care has to be taken in the rutting season when deer can be aggressive.
Also, it is good to visit when the best light happens, sunrise or sunset and when moody atmospheric conditions exist. Foggy and mist.
Here are some photos from a recent photowalk trip to the park, taken in daylight with good light.
There are also numerous photo opportunities for shooting flowers and birds depending on the season. Well worth a visit.
